•   occupation   :   ???❝ + ABOUT THE CHARACTER : A survivor of illegal experiments, Jhuno was the sole escapee after a massive breech was done by an unknown group.As a lab experiment, Jhuno has been given man-made animalistic powers similar to those of this world, this however is a taboo. They were different, they were a regular humam that never asked for any of this, yet was bestowed upon as a child living inside of some unknown labratory. Living inside a lab, a tank nonetheless, has stunted Jhuno's growth immensely, making him look more younger than he actually is.Using these powers causes intense stress to his body, making him extremely weak. Prolonged use can also cause their vision worsen, especially with his left eye.
Scientists thought that when embedded with such power they can then train this individual as it grows up, train the power they harness in order to go against the government of the Major Cityscape.❝ - BACKSTORY : Jhuno was born without powers as a kid, and thus makes him quite vulnerable. They were quite the social kid, always making friends wherever he went and being able to strike up a conversation no problem. However, after their friend, Casper, had gone missing during highschool Jhuno had become more quiet and reserved.
Sooner or later in their senior year Jhuno and his friends planned on meeting up at their usual hang-out spot, the abandoned grocery market down by the highway. Wheb they all arrived Khio and Rory decided to go back to town and grab some extra snacks, while Jhuno and Leona stayed behind. In a moment of vulnerability Jhuno was kidnapped, with Leona not realizing.The rest of Jhuno's childhood years were then spent in a labratory, undergoing countless experiments and training regimens. This went on until Jhuno was 20, up until the labratory was breached by an unknown group. This breah accidentally released Jhuno from his prison, and they then ran back home to Klusterfalls to find his friends.

Khio

•   occupation   :   Underground Fighter❝ + ABOUT THE CHARACTER : Khio may look like a serious and mean guy, but that's just his resting face, he's quite the nerd. Though his attitude may be cocky and stern at times he knows when to soften up and actually show that he cares, but none of that matters in the ring.Khio's power is quite unique considering he must be aggravated first in order to activate it. When it does he puts on his specially made helmet and an exoskeleton forms over on top, as well as on the upper half of his body.❝ - BACKSTORY : Khio grew up as an only child, and having to take care of his chronically ill single-mother from a young age had caused him to grow up must faster than his peers. Despite being much more mature he had trouble socializing and found comfort in music, so he decided to learn guitar in his free time. This was how he met Leona and the rest of his friends.However, after finding out that Jhuno was missing Khio blew up at Leona, spewing things he never thought he'd say and blaming him for Jhuno's disappearance. Khio also blamed himself for not being there in order to protect his best friend, it broke him. He needed to leave the town after they graduated, and that he did. Khio found a place for them in the underground, it was cheaper than their place in Klusterfalls and he can most likely afford his mother's medicine much more easily now.That's where he stayed for the rest of his years, doing his best to provide for himself and his mother, up until he heard rumors of his best friend being alive.

•   occupation   :   Uni Student (Programming)❝ + ABOUT THE CHARACTER : Leona, often referred to as Leo for short, is your typical run of the mill University student; having a passion for music, yet went into something better for his future. He's introverted, but he's not shy, more reserved if you will — having a stressful and traumatizing childhood will do that to a person.Leo's power constantly sits at 5%-10%, this presents itself in his unnatural hair and sharp teeth. When on a higher percentage a tail will appear and he's able to morph his limbs into tiger-like legs.❝ - BACKSTORY : Leo used to go to a private institute close to the town when he was a kid, and went to guitar lessons on the side. After meeting Khio and Rory during lessons they became close friends, and Leo made the decision to go to the same high school they do. There, they met Jhuno and Casper and instantly they hit it off, even decided to create a band together.Fast forward to the incident, Jhuno had just disappeared and Leo was frantic as he was just within Leo's view a moment ago. When he told Khio he was shoved and berated at, getting called all kinds of names while being constantly told it was his fault. Rory did her best to break up the fight, but the damage had been done.Leo couldn't bring himself to accept the truth, one of his best friends is gone and it was all his fault. He couldn't stay in this town any longer and begged his parents to move after he graduated, and spent no time delaying that once he did. The guilt stood heavy on Leo's shoulders, it was like a constant shadow following him, and his only thought was to run from it — run from all his problems and play it off as nothing is wrong.

Rory

•   occupation   :   Farmer and Business Owner❝ + ABOUT THE CHARACTER : Rory was the only person in the friend group who stayed behind in the town, having no choice due to her family situation. After her mother died when she was a kid Rory's father had become a shell of the person he used to be, leaving Rory to do majority of the farm-work and take care of the family business.
Even after all this, Rory stayed the same — extroverted and optimistic, it was her only way of coping. When she wasn't busy with school or work Rory was out in their garage, practicing drums as her way of letting go of pent up frustration.Rory's power comes from Scottish Clydesdale horses, one of her visible features being that her vitiligo directly mimics their markings. Her strength also remains unmatched, perfect for the heavy farm work she's had to undergo as a child. Rory has never pushed the limit of her power, so nobody has seen to what extent her animalistic-like form can go.❝ - BACKSTORY : As the youngest of three siblings Rory never had to worry about much as a child. It was agreed upon that she was the favourite, not because she was the youngest, but because she's a harder worker than two of her older siblings combined — and they didn't mind that. Rory had always loved loud sounds, constantly hitting sticks on cans even before she could walk, and so it was decided that she would go to music lessons, the place where she met Khio and Leona.
Though, it wasn't all sunshine and rainbows. After their mother passed away Rory's two siblings decided to move away from the farm, leaving Rory alone with her dad just as she was about to start high school.When Rory and Khio returned to their hideout they found out that Jhuno had gone missing, and the same feeling of uneasiness of Casper's disappearance had returned. Rory stood in shock as Khio and Leona fought it out, quickly coming back to her senses and trying her best to break it up. She felt useless in the moment, and could do nothing else but go searching for Jhuno in the woods.
After graduation Rory wanted to meet up with the rest of her friends and see what their plans for the future are, only to discover that they had both up and left. Rory had no choice but to stay behind, feeling betrayed once more.

▍ ❝   I. AREAS
There are three main areas in this story:
The Greater Cityscape, The Forest Outskirts and The Undergrounds.The people of the forest are often times called the 'children of the forest' or 'woodlanders'.
These people are more accepting of their animalistic powers and aren't ashamed enough to hide them. They believe you are free to express yourself as you wish, whether that'd be fully human or animal.The city people, sometimes referred to as urbanites or metropolitans, are more reserved about their animalistic powers as laws have been set in place to keep watch of such abilities.
These people, allegedly, enjoy living life as ordinary citizens as some are not born with or do not have the chance to develop these powers.There is a third area unbeknownst to most people, The Undergrounds.
This place is home to those who are often orphaned or banned from the cityscape and are uninterested in living by the forest outskirts. The people here have been shunned by society and have declared that they will stop at nothing to live by their truths given to them in the forms of their zoomorphic powers. The only way to get into The Undergrounds is by that of a trusted guide, as the entrances are hidden extremely well for good reason.

▍ ❝   II. USE OF POWER
Take note: Each individual is unique, how their powers manifest and how they are used will always be one of a kind and vary from person to person, even if said animals are from the same species.How does one gain their powers?
》Animalistic powers are often aquired eight after birth or during childhood. It is possible for a person to obtain these powers later on in life (ie. adulthood), however this is an extremely rare exception. Those who do not gain any powers during their childhood are likely to remain that way for their whole lives. Though, there have been cases where a person's genes have been altered to remove any and all traces of animalistic abilities and features.What animal powers can a person have?
》Just about any (currently living) animal is possible, this includes insects as well. What animal you obtain reflects your personality and living environment, genetics have nothing to do with whatever powers you gain.
EX. Those living or born by the coast are likely to obtain animalistic powers similar to those of sea/coastal animals, while those that live in the forest are more likely to get forest animals, etc.How is it used?
》The power usage goes by percentages, the more power is used up the more animal features you gain. Features that show up (and how they manifest) vary by person, some may even be stuck at a certain percentage and are unable to go any lower.Percentages go as
0% : Fully human, no powers
1% – 5% : With powers, little to no features
10% – 35% : Animal features start showing
40% – 75 % : Partially anthro, more features
80% – 90% : Full Anthro form
100% : Full animal form, 99% chance of death
